HC stays demolition of old Secretariat buildings in Hyderabad

The Telangana High Court has ordered a stay on the demolition of old Secretariat buildings in Hyderabad. The court was hearing a petition which alleged the government was violating environmental norms. The court directed the state to file a counter affidavit by July 13 and to furnish demolition plan and approval taken from pollution control board.
