HCL Technologies on Tuesday acquired Volvo Group's external IT business for $138 million in an all-cash deal. HCL also signed a five-year IT outsourcing deal with Volvo, which brings 2,500 employees from 11 countries to HCL, and 40 new customers to the company's European arm. The deal would reportedly add $1.8 billion to HCL's revenue over the next five years.
