HCL Technologies shares dropped 3% to close at ₹1,184 on the National Stock Exchange despite beating street estimates. The software exporter reported a 20.34% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to ₹4,624 crore for the first quarter. However, the stock slumped as management maintained a cautious revenue growth guidance of 1% to 4%.
