HDFC Bank Board may back Jagdishan for another CEO term: Report

The board of HDFC Bank is likely to recommend incumbent CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan for another term, NDTV Profit reported citing sources. The bank's board is satisfied with Jagdishan's performance and key leadership decisions during his tenure and he also meets RBI's 'fit and proper' criteria. Earlier, FT reported that Atanu Chakraborty quit as Chairman over a power struggle with Jagdishan.
