HDFC Bank in talks with Goldman's Harit Talwar for CEO role: Report

HDFC Bank has held talks with the head of Goldman Sachs Group's consumer-banking business, Harit Talwar, for the role of CEO, a report said. The bank, which has a market capitalisation of $86 billion, has been looking for a successor to Aditya Puri whose term will end on October 26, 2020. Puri has been leading the bank since 1994.
