HDFC Bank shares dip 4.5% as advances, deposits fall in Q1

HDFC Bank's shares dipped 4.5% on Friday to close at ₹1648.1, just two days after the stock touched a 52-week high of ₹1,791.9. This comes after the bank's Q1 results showed its gross advances fell 0.8% quarter-on-quarter to ₹24.87 lakh crore at the end of June. Meanwhile, deposits virtually saw no growth on a sequential basis at ₹23.79 lakh crore.
