Shares of HDFC Bank extended their previous session's decline, falling over 7% in two days and wiping out ₹89,636 crore from its market valuation. The stock declined 2.08% to settle at ₹761.45 on the BSE on Tuesday. According to market experts, the lender's quarterly earnings disappointed investors, particularly on the Net Interest Margin (NIM) front.
