HDFC Bank is expected to appoint its new CEO "well before" October 26, when incumbent Sashidhar Jagdishan is set to retire, Moneycontrol reported. The bank's board is likely to favour a candidate with "aggressive qualities". Jagdishan announced he will step down at the end of business hours on October 26, 2026, and will not seek reappointment for another term.
