HDFC CEO’s reappointment delayed by board review: Report

HDFC Bank is waiting for an independent directors' review before recommending CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan's reappointment to the RBI, Reuters reported. The review follows governance concerns raised by former chairman Atanu Chakraborty, who said the bank's practices were not in line with his "personal ethics". An external legal review last month found no evidence to support his allegations.
