Actor George Clooney backed Jimmy Kimmel after criticism over his "expectant widow" joke on Melania Trump. He compared it to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt's "some shots will be fired tonight" remark before the Correspondents Dinner. He said, "Jimmy’s...comedian, and...Karoline was making a joke...You look at that side and go, 'Well, jokes are jokes.' But the rhetoric is dangerous."
