He's innocent: TMC MLA as son linked to doctor's rape-murder case

TMC MLA Soumen Mahapatra said his son is innocent after the latter was linked with the rape and murder of a doctor at a West Bengal hospital. His wife Sumana, who's also in TMC, said, "Some [TMC] members...are trying to tarnish my son’s name". She claimed their son was with her pregnant daughter-in-law at Apollo hospital when the crime happened.
