Row erupts after Guj fish market named after PM Modi, traders say 'He's vegetarian'

A row erupted after Surat Fish Merchant Association installed a board calling a new fish market 'Shree Narendra Modi Wholesale Fish Market' without civic approval. "[PM] Modi has never consumed seafood...and is a pure vegetarian...this board shouldn't be put up," said trader Surendra Lashkari on behalf of Kahar-Machhi community. However, association president Kalpesh Navsariwala defended the move.
