US President Trump, who has been threatening to intervene in Iran amid nationwide protests, stopped short of backing Reza Pahlavi, son of Iran’s last shah, who was overthrown in 1979 Islamic Revolution. "He seems very nice but I don’t know how he’d play within his own country," Trump said, adding, "I don’t know whether his country would accept his leadership."
