He should keep his mouth shut: EU official to Ukraine President Zelenskyy on EU membership

Multiple EU officials have condemned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's push for Ukraine to swiftly join the European Union. "We are the only friends he has, so he might be better off keeping his mouth shut," an EU official said as per Financial Times. "Membership is not a gift...Maybe there's some misunderstanding in Kyiv about that," another official said.
