Headless doll triggers major police operation in Germany

The headless body of a doll prompted a major police operation in southern Germany on Monday after it was mistaken for a corpse, the police said. A passerby spotted what appeared to be a headless corpse covered in blood lying by a stream. Firefighters determined it was a doll after reaching the suspected crime scene, which had been cordoned off.
