Heat wave warning issued for 8 states for next 2 days, list released

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heat wave warning for eight states/UTs for the next two days (Friday and Saturday). Heat wave is very likely over Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. Meanwhile, warm night conditions are very likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Goa and Odisha on Friday and Saturday.
