A German documentary about the life of Heath Ledger giving a glimpse into how he created his character of 'Joker' for The Dark Knight has surfaced. A scene from the documentary shows Ledger’s father leafing through a diary his son kept while preparing for the role. Ledger died in January 2008 aged 28. He was awarded an Oscar in 2009.
