Heatwave intensifies in Telangana; Dahegaon records 46.5°C

Heatwave conditions gripped Telangana on 25 May, with districts like Kumuram Bheem, Mancherial, Suryapet, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam crossing 45°C. Dahegaon recorded the highest at 46.5°C. The state average stood at 42.9°C, above normal. 16 deaths have been reported, prompting ex-gratia relief and government directives for precautionary measures.
