Heatwave to severe heatwave alert issued for several states; IMD releases list

The IMD has predicted heatwave to severe heatwave conditions over parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West and East Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra between May 23 and 27. Heatwave conditions are also very likely in Vidarbha and Jammu division. Hot and humid weather is predicted over Assam, Konkan and Goa from May 23-25.
