Delhi Police issued an advisory as a heavy influx of crowds and traffic congestion were observed in New Delhi district, where the protest is going on, after Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. "Citizens and commuters are advised to avoid travelling towards the New Delhi area unless absolutely necessary," the advisory read. Celebrations erupted at Jantar Mantar after the news broke.
