Heavy rain & hailstorm hit Pune, power cuts reported in several areas

Heavy rain and hailstorm hit several parts of Pune and nearby Pimpri-Chinchwad on Monday afternoon. The sudden rain led to traffic congestion in many areas, and waterlogging was also reported. Power supply was also disrupted in some localities due to the rain. Officials have advised people to stay indoors during thunderstorms and avoid standing under trees or near electric poles.
