Heavy rain in Brazil unearth one of world's oldest dinosaur fossils

Torrential rains in Brazil have revealed what may be the world's oldest dinosaur skeleton. The "almost fully preserved" fossil, estimated to be 233 million years old, was discovered in Rio Grande do Sul. Researchers believe it is from the Herrerasauridae family, a carnivorous dinosaur about 2.5 metres long from the Triassic Period when dinosaurs first emerged on the supercontinent Pangea.
