Heavy rainfall and heatwave warnings issued for several states, list released

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy rainfall and heatwave warnings for several states/UTs. Heavy rainfall is very likely over West Bengal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday. It is very likely over Assam and Meghalaya on Saturday and Sunday. Heatwave is likely in Rajasthan and Gujarat on Tuesday and Wednesday, and in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi on Wednesday.
