Heavy rains trigger severe waterlogging, traffic jams in Bengaluru

Several parts of Bengaluru witnessed severe waterlogging and traffic jams after heavy rains. Areas around Hormavu and HBR Layout were among the worst affected, with roads submerged due to stagnation of rainwater. The rains also led to multiple incidents of trees and branches falling in different parts of Bengaluru. The IMD has issued a yellow alert till Thursday.
