Hegseth credits God for 'victory' over Iran, says the divine protected their op

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth invoked God and credited "divine providence" for America's "victory" over Iran. "Our troops, our American warriors, deserve the credit for this day, but God deserves all the glory," he said, calling their operation a "massive effort with miraculous protection". He earlier likened US rescuing their downed airman from Iran to Jesus' resurrection on Easter.
