Hemant Soren releases 1st statement after students' march to Assembly, thanks police

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren released a statement after student protesters marched towards the Assembly on Monday. He thanked police for handling the protest with restraint and sensitivity. "You've raised your voice for your demands in a peaceful manner...In a democracy, it is your right to express your views, and it's the government's responsibility to respect your voice," he told students.
