Hemant Soren’s sister loses both LS & Assembly polls on same day

Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren's sister and JMM candidate Anjani Soren lost Saraskana Assembly seat in Odisha to BJP candidate Bhadav Hansdah by 38,662 votes. Anjani, who was also fielded by JMM as a Lok Sabha candidate from Mayurbhanj seat in Odisha, lost the elections to BJP candidate Naba Charan Majhi by 4,50,572 votes.
