Tata Sons has had six people at the company's Chairman position to date, with recently-ousted Cyrus Mistry being the sixth Chairman of the group since December 2012. Ratan Tata was the fifth Chairman of the company from 1991 to 2012. The company had only two Chairmen who did not have a Tata surname - Cyrus Mistry and Nowroji Saklatvala.
