Hezbollah fires 30 rockets at Israel hours after latter's talks with Lebanon

Hezbollah fired around 30 rockets into Israel on Wednesday, the Israeli military said. In response, Israel struck areas south of Beirut. The attack came after Israel and Lebanon held direct negotiations for the first time in decades in Washington. Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militant group operating from Lebanon, had opposed the talks.
