Hezbollah's envoy to Syrian military killed in airstrike: Israel

Israel confirmed on Tuesday that its forces had killed Salman Nemer Jamaa, Hezbollah's envoy responsible for liaising with the Syrian army, in Damascus. Last month, Israel had said that it targeted intelligence assets near Damascus. Separately, Hezbollah has reportedly denied sending fighters to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's government amid crisis with rebels' takeover.
