Hidden Voronoi pattern uncovered in Chinese money plant leaves

Researchers have discovered a mathematical pattern called Voronoi diagram inside the leaves of the Chinese money plant. Voronoi diagram is a geometric system that divides space into separate regions around central points. They mapped the pores and veins of the leaves and found that they create highly organised systems without conscious planning or measurement, similar to spatial logic humans use.
