Over 60,000 attendees flooded Palace Grounds on Thursday for two high-profile wedding receptions, causing severe congestion on Ballari Road. The events—hosted by Congress minister Byrathi Suresh and BJP MLA SR Vishwanath—brought traffic to a standstill from Hebbal Flyover to High Grounds Junction, with motorists taking an hour to cover just 1 km.
