Higher daily step counts linked to fewer mental health issues in early adolescence: Study
Every extra walk to school, kickabout in the park or trip to the shops could be doing more for teenage mental health than previously thought, according to new research. The study led by King’s College London tracked 5,515 adolescents and found that those who walked more had fewer mental health problems a year later. The participants were aged around 11-12.
