Highway commuters to get real-time stray cattle alerts as NHAI begins testing

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has launched a pilot project that sends real-time stray cattle movement alerts to users on two NH corridors, Jaipur-Agra and Jaipur-Rewari. The system will send location-based Flash SMS and voice warnings around 10 km before high-risk stretches to reduce accidents. The NHAI had signed an MoU with Reliance Jio to introduce the system.
