Himachal Pradesh defeated Tamil Nadu by 11 runs (VJD method) in final of Vijay Hazare Trophy to win a domestic cricket title for first time. Tamil Nadu were dismissed for 314 in 49.4 overs, with Dinesh Karthik scoring 116(103). Himachal Pradesh scored 299/4 in 47.3 overs before bad light stopped play. Shubham Arora top-scored for Himachal with 136*(131).
