Himachal becomes 3rd state to allow cannabis cultivation for medical use

Himachal Pradesh has become the third Indian state to permit controlled cannabis cultivation for medicinal and scientific purposes. The newly notified rules allow regulated cultivation, storage, research, processing and manufacturing of cannabis. Cultivation sites must be geo-tagged and located on landholdings of at least three acres, except for research institutions and universities.
