Himachal Congress leader & Priyanka Gandhi's aide Tajinder Bittu quits party

Tajinder Pal Singh Bittu, who's considered a close aide of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, resigned from primary membership of the party on Saturday. Bittu also stepped down as the All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary co-incharge of Himachal Pradesh. Sharing his resignation letter on Facebook, Bittu wrote, "With heavy heart, after 35 years, I resign from the Congress party."
