Himachal's oldest rural cricket tournament marks 50 years

Surrounded by dense forests and scenic mountains in Shimla district's Rohru subdivision, Sheel village is hosting the Bushahr Cricket Cup, now in its 50th year. The 14-day tournament features 64 teams from across Himachal Pradesh, promoting rural talent and awareness on drugs, social and environmental issues. The event concludes on Tuesday, with Education Minister Rohit Thakur as the chief guest.
