Himanta Biswa Sarma to take oath as Assam CM on May 12

Himanta Biswa Sarma will take oath as Chief Minister of Assam for his second consecutive term at 11:40 AM on May 12 in Guwahati. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and several other BJP leaders will attend the ceremony. Earlier, Himanta had staked a claim to form the government after BJP-led NDA won 102 seats in elections.
