Hindu, Sikh & Jain refugees from Bangladesh to get citizenship within 6 months: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Hindu, Sikh and Jain refugees from Bangladesh will get citizenship within six months. Shah stated that the Ministry of Home Affairs has given eight collectors of the West Bengal government authority to grant citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). "We will identify and expel every single infiltrator from the state," he added.
