Hindu groups give saffron shawls to students after K’taka govt allows hijab in schools

Hindu organisation Shri Ram Sena distributed saffron shawls to students in Karnataka's Hubballi in protest against Congress-led state government’s decision to allow students to wear hijab in schools and colleges. “If they permits religious attire for one section, it must extend same rules to everyone,” a student activist said. BJP had accused Congress of doing appeasement politics.
