Hindu Mahasabha leader arrested for firing at Gandhiji's effigy
The UP police have arrested Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha leader Pooja Pandey and her husband Ashok Pandey for allegedly firing at an effigy of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30, his death anniversary. Following the arrest, Pooja said, "No regrets. We have not committed any crime. We have used our constitutional right." Earlier, five others were arrested for burning Gandhiji's effigy.
