Hindu temple, sari, auto among 230 emoji to debut in 2019

The Unicode Consortium has approved 230 emoji including Hindu temple, diya, sari and autorickshaw to debut later this year. These emoji will include 59 new emoji along with 171 variants for gender and skin tone. The list also includes emoji depicting people with disabilities like 'woman and man in motorised wheelchair', service dogs and a yawning face.
