Hindustan Unilever board approves to split ice cream business

Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) on Wednesday announced that its board has approved to separate the ice cream business. "Ice Cream...is a high-growth category that needs significant investments to realise its full potential," the maker of Kwality Wall's ice creams said, citing suggestions of a committee. Earlier, HUL-parent Unilever also announced plans to separate its ice cream business.
