Hindustan Unilever CEO Sanjiv Mehta's salary jumps 47% to ₹22 crore in 2021-22

Sanjiv Mehta, the CEO and MD of Hindustan Unilever (HUL), received a salary of ₹22 crore in 2021-22, marking a 47% jump from ₹15 crore in 2020-21. Mehta's total compensation included ₹3.7 crore salary, ₹9.2 crore in allowances, ₹4.3 crore bonus and ₹4.2 crore as perquisite. In 2019-20, Mehta was the highest-paid FMCG CEO, with a salary of ₹19.42 crore.
