Hindustan Unilever splits Chairman & CEO posts, Sanjiv Mehta to remain CEO

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has announced the separation of the roles of chairman and CEO as the company seeks to boost governance standards. Sanjiv Mehta will continue as the CEO and MD, while Nitin Paranjpe, who is currently the Chief Operating Officer, will take over as the Non-executive Chairman. The change will be effective from March 31, the company said.
