Hindustan Zinc shares fall 7%, Nifty Metal index down 3%

The Nifty Metal index fell nearly 3% to 11,726 in the early trading hours of February 5, ending a three-day gaining streak. Hindustan Zinc shares fell over 7% to ₹594.05 apiece, while both Vedanta and NALCO shares were down nearly 6%. The Nifty Metal index gained more than 6% in the past three sessions, and closed at 12,044.25 yesterday.
