Hindutva leader among 7 booked over hate speech at Karnataka event
Police have registered a case against seven people, including Hindutva leader Harshita Thakur, over alleged hate speech and provocative acts during Akhanda Hindu Sammelana held on January 18 in Machhe near Karnataka's Belagavi. The complaint alleges offensive speeches, illegal banners near a dargah and gestures that hurt religious sentiments. Police have tightened security and begun a probe.
