Hinjewadi to Baner Metro Line 3 may launch in March 2026

Pune's transport landscape is set for a boost as Pune Metro Line 3 nears completion with a projected start by March 2026, and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway missing link advances toward opening soon after. Once operational, the metro will improve urban commuting, while the expressway link will cut Pune–Mumbai travel time by about 30 minutes, easing congestion and enhancing connectivity.
