Historic 60-year-old Kadawada Bridge collapses in Karnataka

A historic 60-year-old bridge across the Kali River in Kadawada, Karwar, collapsed following heavy rainfall and strong winds. Although closed to traffic, the structure remained a vital fishing spot for hundreds of families. Authorities have warned people to stay away as the remaining sections are also at risk of collapse.
